Origin
Dating back to 1410 the producers Gusbourne in Appledore are nestled in the Kent country side.
The estate was taken over by Andrew Weeber in 2004, who had one clear goal, to create an English sparkling wine that would stand up amongst the best in the world.
Producer
The Gusbourne team released their debut vintages in 2010, using a combination of old-age traditions and cutting edge technology they very quickly built a reputation as an outstanding wine producer with exacting standards and hold many an accolade to their name!
Grape Variety
This best seller is a combination of Chardonnay (40%) Pinot Meunier (33%) and Pinot Noir (27%)
Winemaker Charlie Holland employs whole bunch pressing using only the first free run juice. After settling the wine undergoes inoculate yeast fermentation mainly in stainless steel with a small proportion in oak. Full malolactic is followed by a minimum of 36 months lees aging.

Perfectly paired with classic British fish dishes, such as smoked eels, scallops and fish and chips.
