Doran Vineyards is situated on the Swartland borders, about 14 km from Wellington, 15 km from Paarl, and 77 km from Cape Town CBD. The terroir naturally gives hearty, concentrated but fresh wines.
Producer
Doran Vineyards is owned by Irishman Edwin Doran, who has been visiting South Africa since 1981. In 2010, he purchased Far Horizons Farm in the Western Cape to fulfill his dream of having his very own wine farm. Initially, it had five wine cultivars to which Grenache Noir and three more white wine cultivars were added.
Doran Vineyards offers a combination of beautiful South African wines with Irish charm and character. Family is at the heart of everything they do at Doran, so much so that Edwin decided to name selected wines after different family members.
