Deep colour, rich nose of Vargellas violets, dark preserved fruits, liquorice and spices. Explosive palate – sweet, rich, textural, with bold black fruit, plums, liquorice (again), soft spice. Very concentrated and lovely structure and balance. Smooth and satiny mouth feel – for all its power remarkably subtle and elegant.
