Pick of the month
Jordan Black Magic Merlot
Harvested from mature east and west-facing vineyards established on soils of decomposed granite. Part whole-berry fermentation and softer pump-overs extract aromas of red plums and dark bitter chocolate. French oak maturation seasons the wine to accentuate the seductive flavours and generous velvety tannins.
EQ Cool Climate Syrah, Matetic
The EQ Cool Climate Syrah, Matetic has an intense violet colour with red hues. The nose shows bold notes of black fruit and delicate notes of floral aromas reminiscent of violets mixed with spices like pepper and a hint of wet earth. The acidity is vibrant and juicy on the palate, with a very smooth and elegant texture that is concentrated and persistent at the same time. The wine unfolds with contact with oxygen, showing great complexity and intensity.

Considered to be the most famous rose in the world, Whispering Angel is a classic dry rosé from Provence, exceptionally drinkable with citrus flavours and pink grapefruit combined with beautiful acidity. A premium rosé that you can drink from mid-day to midnight.

I immediately messaged my friend who recommended WineTrust when I opened this bottle to thank him as this was a beautiful red that was just too easy to drink. So… I’ve come to remind myself just how easy it was and buying more. Lovely.
Rich, silky, spicy and very dry – a classic Syrah and another great value wine from Winetrust.
